Maestro Wm. Shane Williams will conduct…. This concert will feature work from ‘English Folk Song Suite,’ one of English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams’ most famous works; [plus] ‘Rhosymedre,’ ‘The Moldau,’ ‘Night on Bald Mountain’ and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 2 featuring pianist Brett Klaus…. The Dec. 9 holiday concert will feature [holiday favorites] and the Deborah Fox Guild Award winner. This winner submits an audition of a performed concerto and is judged by ASO’s panel of musicians during its Marie Stillwell Concerto Competition.
